We are two travel lovers, mums, and business owners who turned our passion into income-producing freedom.

We were both searching for a way to earn without sacrificing the moments that matter with our families – and we found it in travel.

What started as a side venture quickly became life-changing for both of us. We built thriving travel businesses, gaining flexibility, purpose, and a lifestyle we love. Now, we've collaborated to create Travel Support Circle – a space where business meets community, mindset meets strategy, and financial freedom meets making memories.

Meet Lucinda

Hello hello! I'm Lucinda, One Star Director, wife and mum of 1 gorgeous 6 year old, Bethanie, we live in West Sussex and we are all travel addicts! A former procurement professional with an addiction to coffee (thanks to a child who never sleeps!), I swapped my 9-5 (or 8-8!) to run my online travel business around my daughter, putting her first instead of work.

I started my online travel business, TripLux Travel, in 2021 as a distraction from my demanding 9–5 in technology procurement. My corporate career was stressful and unfulfilling, and I needed something more rewarding to pour my energy into. Planning dream holidays quickly became a joy in an otherwise pressured routine — but I soon realised this “hobby” had the potential to change my life completely.

Travel has always been a huge part of my life, from family holidays to Ibiza and Tenerife to multi-stop adventures across South East Asia. Even when things don’t go to plan — like being stuck in Bangkok for nine days during the ash cloud — I still come home planning the next trip. Now, my daughter has caught the travel bug too (she calls it her “holiday home”), and I love taking her along for the adventure.

This business has given me the freedom to leave the corporate world behind and build a life where family comes first. I no longer have to miss school events or bedtime routines — instead, I can create a flexible, fulfilling business around what matters most, while helping others do the same through the travel industry.

Meet Nicola

Hi, I’m Nicola, Director in Training. I live in Essex with my husband Ross and our little boy, Harry, who is 4. Being a mum is my greatest joy, and Harry is my little best friend. Family means everything to me, and creating special memories together is incredibly important, especially since I was told I couldn’t have children, making Harry our little miracle

After having my son, Harry, I took a career break to be a full-time mum. As the cost of living increased, I began looking for a way to earn extra income without sacrificing time with my family. When I discovered this travel business, it felt like the perfect fit — complete flexibility, the freedom to work from anywhere, and the chance to build a career around my love of travel.

Before becoming a mum, I spent 15 years in the wedding industry, which naturally led me to specialise in honeymoons and destination weddings. My passion for travel began in my teens on family holidays to Ibiza and Tenerife, then grew during my time as a holiday rep in Majorca and Gran Canaria, followed by unforgettable adventures across Australia, Fiji, and Thailand.

What started as a way to earn alongside family life has become a thriving business that gives me both freedom and fulfilment. I’m grateful to do something I love every day — and even more so to help others create their own flexible, rewarding travel businesses too.

I started my travel agent business in October 2024. I’ve always had a thirst for travel and I’m constantly on the hunt for new and interesting places to explore.

Two years ago, while attending an online business course for my hairdressing career, I kept hearing other stylists talk about becoming travel agents as a side gig to fill in the quieter months. After a year of debating whether I wanted to ‘work in sales’, the penny dropped - I’m already in sales! I sell my services every day and manage my own social media, so why not add travel to that mix?

By sheer chance, I came across a post on a local Insta page asking for people’s dream jobs. Lucinda commented, I followed up and here I am a year later!

Since then, I’ve booked a cruise along the Nile, a safari in South Africa, and a three-week island-hopping holiday across Thailand for two families

The only downside? Not being able to holiday 24/7 because I’m constantly tempted by all the amazing deals we have! 😅✈️
